Preston "Press" Lennox is a character and protagonist from the film Species and it's sequel Species II. He is a former mercenary who later founded his own private security firm.

Species

In the first film, he is a mercenary who was hired by The government who assembles a team composed of anthropologist Dr. Stephen Arden (Alfred Molina), molecular biologist Dr.Laura Baker (Marg Helgenberger), "empath" Dan Smithson (Forest Whitaker) and to track and destroy Sil.

Species II

In the second film, He returns and has founded a private security firm after the first film, to contain a new threat (Patrick Ross) who has become infected with an alien disease. He teams up with Dr.Laura Baker again from the first film and Dennis Gamble who was not infected with the alien disease due to the fact that he has a genetic flaw which makes him immune.
